Does this gel help as a heat protectant?

Does the hair gel Vital Care helps as a heat protectant? It is Vital Care extreme hold sport gel. Does it protect hair against heat or not? I think it does because it says Keratin Protein & Panthenol to protect and it has UV protectors but imm juss making suree.!!! :D
