Ricoh GR III or Panasonic LX-5?

I'm looking for a high end point and shoot camera. I'll be in SE Asia next year and looking to get into street photography, and after doing some research I've narrowed it down to the Ricoh and Panasonic. But I'm pretty much a beginner when it comes to cameras beyond your basic digital camera. I can't decide which to buy and all the camera lingo on the websites doesn't help. haha Any suggestions for a beginner like me but willing to learn?
