Wii says "Please confirm SSID" What is that and how do I get it?

an ssid is the name of your network that you are connected to. there is a thingy called a wireless router. It is what all your computers in your home connect to. For mine, there is a name that comes with it, or, you can change the name somehow. the name should be on it somewhere. For me, it is on the bottom. once you've found that, turn on your wii. Go to wii settings (you probably know this already but it's in the bottom left corner). after that you'll see two options. Data management and i forgot the other. Click the one that is not data management and there are the pages. I think the internet option is in the second page, but I cant be sure.then there is an option to set up a wireless connection. go to connection settings then type in all the info. if it doesn't work, their will be an error code and it will give you a website to go to and see what the code. If it works, it will give you a support code(just ignore it) i hope this helps! Oh and if the wii is to far from the signal or in a tight space, I suggest moving it because it wont work. Trust me its happened before
