How do you use Exo Terra UV Lighting Strips?

I just bought a Yellow belly slider turtle and need a UVB/UVA light for it. I saw that those UV lighting strips by exo terra have everything thing i need and theyre quite cheap. I want to get the 5.0 one. Is it enough for my turtle. Also, how do you use them? theyre just long strips do you need to buy some lamp for it like bulbs Im new to this so can anyone recommend me any UVB lights with lamps if I need to put them in something. Please help!
