SATA 3 Hard Drive on SATA 1 Motherboard?
Is a SATA 3 Hard Drive compatible with a SATA 1 motherboard (MSI K9VGM-V)? I am aware SATA 2 is compatible with SATA 1. Are there any special procedures to ensure compatibility (SATA 3 with SATA 1 performance) and are there any factors which won't work on SATA 1 e.g. Cache size, etc?
