I am a seasoned nurse (RN) as we call it in nursing lingo. I would like to move to northern Calif to be closer?

northern Calif to be closer to my only son and his family, but my hubby prefer that I consider Nevada instead. He does not like the liberal thinking californians. We are from CT. Please give me some suggestion
